Hi, I’m Dhakshayini, the photographer and studio owner at Lumen Studio.

For the past 7 years, I’ve had the joy of capturing portraits that feel both personal and polished. Lumen Studio is my home-based photography space in south Edmonton, designed with care to offer an elevated, luxurious experience for everyday people looking to capture timeless portraits. Whether you’re coming in for family portraits, updated headshots, maternity, or kids' photos, this is a space where you’ll feel comfortable, guided, and beautifully seen.

Studio Rentals:

When I created Lumen, I dreamed of a space to bring my clients to. Now that the dream is real, I’m excited to share it with other creatives too. Lumen Studio is available for rentals, perfect for photographers or content creators looking for a welcoming, well-equipped space.

We’re tucked into a quiet residential neighbourhood on the south side, with a private entrance at the back. Once you step inside, it’s a bright space with large windows, curated backdrops, chairs, basic lighting equipment, a private dressing room and bathroom - everything you need for a smooth, enjoyable shoot. We also offer seasonal set designs, ranging from elegant drapery to cozy Christmas scenes.
